Presented by Singers Companye, producer Alexandre Marr brings The Cabaret Project to BLU for a showcase of 21st century Broadway/Off-Broadway repertoire, including selections from Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, Spring Awakening, The Last Five Years, Next to Normal, The Color Purple, The Bridges of Madison County, The Light in the Piazza, Beautiful, It Shoulda Been You, Anastasia & more!

Presented by Singers Companye, The Cabaret Project premiers a one night only performance at BLU Jazz + this December. Founded in 2000 by Dr. Samuel Gordon, vocal ensemble Singers Companye reguarly performs across Northeast Ohio and internationally, recently touring Ireland this past summer to great acclaim. Producer/Director Alexandre Marr, a member of the ensemble, is thrilled to be collaborating with BLU Jazz + for the premier performance of The Cabaret Project with the mission of bringing a cabaret scene to the Akron area. The evening will feature members of the ensemble and their family and friends for a night of 21st century Broadway/Off-Broadway repertoire including selections from Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, Spring Awakening, The Last Five Years, Next to Normal, The Color Purple, The Bridges of Madison County, The Light in the Piazza, Beautiful, It Shoulda Been You, Anastasia, and more.
 
Join us for this very special collaboration as we present this incredible cast in a fresh & exciting program right here at BLU! Alexandre Marr (piano), Barbara Bellamy (keyboard), Merissa Coleman (auxiliary percussion), Steve Wright (guitar/bass), and Travis Baiera (drums) will accompany singers Adrianne Krauss, Amy Bransky, Ashely Berman, Bill Marr, Brandy Kay Riha, Brianna Swinford, Christine Stewart, Desiree Hargrave, Dominic Iudiciani, Heidi Swinford, James Major Burns, Jennifer Browning, Jimmy Schreck, Katelyn DeLadurantey, Kevin Henderson, Marie Taylor, Mickey Erdos, Mikayla Moore, Olivia Rae Wimberly, Paul Stewart, Samantha Garner, Tim Harkleroad, Trevail Smith, Val Stewart, and Pat Harris.
