Singer and trumpeter, Dillon Shidemantle, returns to BLU Jazz with his local all-star quintet to swing the classics! Featuring Tommy Lehman (trumpet), Nick Paparone (guitar), Jordan Mcbride (bass), and Zaire Dardin (drums).
Born on a farm in Conneautville, PA, Dillon has been performing professionally for over a decade. With degrees from Mercyhurst University and The University of Akron, Dillon keeps busy around the tri-state area charming his audiences with the styles of classic crooners like Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Michael Buble into his performances.
Before Covid, Dillon traveled to New Orleans where he performed with pianist and actor, Theron Brown. In June of 2021, he released his debut album, "1960", a dedication to his mother. This performance was premiered on The Knight Stage in Akron, Ohio for the brand new venue's opening night.
Serenading venues like Con Alma in Pittsburgh, The Bop Stop in Cleveland, and The Ginger Rabbit in Columbus, this band is excited to hit the stage at Blu Jazz in Akron, Ohio!
