ABOUT ABOUT

Join Tara Hawley and the Matt Skitzki Trio for an intimate evening as they explore the songs of legendary songwriter / pianist / arranger / producer, Burt Bacharach!

While an amazing performer in his own right, Burt Bacharach has written songs, along with talented co-writers such as Hal David, that were recorded by some of the most well-known artists of our time—artists like Dionne Warwick, The Carpenters, Dusty Springfield, The Beatles, Tom Jones, and Aretha Franklin, to name just a few.

Burt Bacharach has written over 73 US Top 40 hits, and the evening will include all-time favorites such as: "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head," "Close to You," "I Say a Little Prayer," "The Look of Love," "That’s What Friends Are For," and many more.  You may just be surprised how many songs, that you know and love, were penned by Bacharach.

Tara and the Trio—Matt Skitzki (piano), Alan Gleghorn (bass), and Ricky Exton (drums) - are excited about this concert since the style of Burt Bacharach has been one of the many influences on their own music and performances over the years.  Tara Hawley and the members of the Trio have enjoyed performing individually in the Cleveland area for years with some of the greatest players in town, but it’s definitely a special treat every time the four of them get together to play music.  Known for smooth vocals and excellent musicianship, Tara Hawley and the Matt Skitzki Trio are sure to treat you to a fantastic celebration of these wonderful songs!
